The Electric Mokai project was completed in order to satisfy the needs of a robotics customer that required a “human optional” surface craft. Maribotics modified a gas powered jet kayak manufactured by Mokai, replacing the gas engine with an electric motor, custom fabricated Lithium-ion battery pack and full vessel control system.
