Offshore and near shore aquaculture is particularly well suited to maintaining healthy fish stock. Open water cages provide fish with exposure to clean, flowing water, enhancing fish health and reducing disease.

Maribotics developed a remote telemetry and control system to allow these open water pens to raise, lower and rotate in order to provide access, protect stock and aid in cage maintenance.
