VDBS - Variable Displacement Buoy System

The Variable Displacement Buoy System (VDBS) is a wireless control system that provides remote operation of a buoyant anchor system. The VDBS can be used on a variety of marine applications including submerged and semi-submerged aquaculture cages. The VDBS provides operators with a secure method of managing flotation depth of cages and pens without the need to put divers in the water. Maribotics designed, fabricated and tested all of the electronic control elements of the VDBS in collaboration with Cliff Goudey and Associates of Newburyport, MA.
