Seth Dixon
Seth Dixon is a junior majoring in mechanical engineering at the University of Maine. Known for his self-driven and hard-working nature, Seth excels both academically and in extracurricular activities. His leadership in the Society of Automotive Engineers Team has proven effective, and members of the team have praised his efforts. Seth is dedicated to applying his engineering knowledge to real-world challenges, continuously striving for excellence in all his endeavors.
Seth has working experience with composites and composite structures. Seth assisted a team of engineers at the Advanced Structures and Composites Center on a novel manufacturing technique for use in the marine industry.
Seth has many years of experience with unmanned aerial vehicles including multicopters and airplanes. Seth has expertise operating both of these platforms through human control and autonomous control via high power consumer systems.
