Autonomous Sailboat - Persistent data capture, telemetry, mobile meteorology, three-domain gateway and more.

Designed for nearshore and coastal survey, data harvest and telemetry, persistent surveillance and more.

The Unmanned catamaran sailboat currently under development by Robonautics LLC, in collaboration with Maribotics, LLC is designed for near shore and estuarial monitoring.  Maribotics is responsible for the design, fabrication and fielding of the full electrical and electronic system for this vessel.  On board systems include a full autonomy suite for remote piloting and fully autonomous operation, all core vehicle systems including actuator control, multiple radio and telemetry systems, battery management and so on.   These vessels will be suitable for long endurance deployment and long-range unattended operation.  As such, the electrical and electronic systems are being developed with robustness and reliability as primary objectives.

USSV - Unmanned Sailing Surface Vehicle

The combination of sail operation and on board autonomy allows long duration deployment with minimal human interaction. The USSV has been successfully tested and deployed on fish-tracking missions, data capture surveys and remote telemetry operation.
